I Heart Neon!!

I did this outfit shoot inside, actually in our Porch which has striped walls I guess you can see that. And perhaps you will notice that I’m totally addicted to Stripes/Neon/Oranges/Retro looks at the moment?

 

I actually had no idea what I wanted to wear with this skirt.This skirt has been one of those things that I resisted for a long time before finally thinking it was something I could wear and not look completely drowned . This combines my current obsession with  mixing up old with the new items in my closet and this skirt is probably one of the oldest clothing item I own  but have never worn over last few years(to be precise say 5 years).I really can’t part ways with my skirts even though I rarely wear them.This clutch is mom's last worn here,this shirt is a bargain I am proud of and last worn in this post and coincidentally both of them are in the list of my favourite posts.

Coming back to Outfit,I didn’t want to look ‘too much’ but I always try to avoid ‘too simple and boring’ outfit, too.Although maroon and cream is altogether a good combination but a bit boring and to make it a little more interesting I added my retro glasses with some neon accessories. Remember, if sporting neon clothing feels a bit too bold for you, it is just as much fun in accessory, shoe, or nail polish form.

Having said that,I can't get enough of neon. It takes a lot of self control to stop myself from wearing it head to toe. And why wouldn't anyone love neon? It is bright, fun, and a perfect way to ring in the summers.
