Kashmir Dairies Part One!!

I'm back from Kashmir!! It was a great trip and surprisingly,I liked Srinagar and Pahalgam much more than snowy mountains of Gulmarg.I couldn't have been more wrong.While I spent significantly less time in Srinagar...I felt like I saw almost everything I wanted to see with the exception of like a botanical garden.I didn't really enter that city with much of an agenda...but after being there, I became so fascinated with the place that I couldn't help but want to see everything it had to offer! 

We stayed at the Lalit Palace, in Srinagar, a palace turned hotel set on a hilly orchard with a vantage view of the Dal.With beautifully manicured lawn, the palace is backed by mountains uncluttered by human habitation.
As we throw open the windows of our luxurious bedroom, gazing at the placid lake, backed by lovely mountains, the lines of Browning flash through: The hillside's dew pearled; the lark's on the wing; the snail's on the thorn; God's in his Heaven — All's right with the world!

I still can't make a decision on where Kashmir stands in my travel book.The place fascinated me and the people were so interesting it left me enthralled with their culture and lifestyle.I really feel like Kashmir is a place I'm going to be drawn to until I get back there again without any pre-planned tour package which are for just skimming but on my own, for experiencing the place as it is..

A Pearl Collar necklace,Bangs and Life lately!!!

There's been a debate going on in our household lately.The topic was whether or not I should get bangs again. I say yes, and R says no. It feels nice to get a mini-makeover and pamper yourself a bit sometimes and its extra nice when you just need such a little effort to get the "Wow, you look great kind of compliment. While the other side of argument was..I get tired of styling them every day and getting rid of greasiness against my forehead but somehow whenever I don’t have bangs, they seem like such a good idea…...........Does it happens to you sometimes when even a silly thing like getting bangs gets debated or much contemplated upon?
